BNoble I love them all, but I will pick a tide toward oblivion because it has such a obscure approach to beauty I love about making music in your own way! Thank you Robert Stillman. Thank you. Favorite track: A Tide Toward Oblivion.

about

Orindal Records is proud to present Time of Waves, a new EP of instrumental music by Maine-born composer and multi-instrumentalist Robert Stillman. Time of Waves drifts away from the more traditional arrangements of his previous album, Rainbow, and towards something decidedly more abstract. Elements of drone, spiritual jazz, dub and musique concrète can be traced throughout Time of Waves’ four movements.

Robert explains:

"Time of Waves” is an improvisation on saxophone, cassette players, and effects pedals, made in the safety of my office in Broadstairs, England.
We are living in a Time of Waves.

ROBERT STILLMAN Kent, UK

Robert Stillman is a musician from the northeast United States, now based in East Kent, UK. His music juxtaposes the archaic with the futuristic, incorporating influences of American Folk Music, Jazz, Minimalism, and experimental electronic music to create a sound described by the Guardian as “lending an avant-garde shimmer to pre-modern American sounds.”
